Job Title: Registered General Nurse (RGN)

We are seeking a skilled Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team at a reputable NHS hospital in Preston, UK.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients with mental health conditions. This will involve assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans, as well as working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide nursing care and support to patients with mental health conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
  2. Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
  3. Provide support to families and carers, as well as helping patients to manage their conditions and improve their quality of life.
  4. Monitor patients' progress and respond to changes in their condition.
  5. Participate in training and development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  6. Hold a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) membership.
  7. Have clinical experience with a valid UK visa.
  8. Be vaccinated against Hep B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tuberculosis, and COVID 19.
  9. Hold a valid DBS certificate that is on the DBS update service.
  10. Have in-date mandatory training certificates.
Desired Qualities:
  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
  3. Having a car driver's license is desirable but not mandatory.
