Job Title: Colleague Support Advisor

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Timpson Ltd in Manchester. As a Colleague Support Advisor, you will provide expert guidance and support to our colleagues and area teams on all aspects of Human Resources and Colleague Support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate and practical advice on HR and Colleague Support matters, including recruitment, employee relations, policy interpretation, and implementation.
  • Support colleagues and area teams on a wide range of topics, including capability, discipline, grievance, performance management, and absence management.
  • Maintain accurate records and administration, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of services.
  • Implement Timpson policies, procedures, and practices effectively.
  • Work closely with payroll and department colleagues to maintain and communicate departmental administration.
  • Maximize departmental system usage through auditing and adopting best practices.
  • Contribute to departmental ad-hoc projects.
Requirements:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in an HR Advisory role.
  • Ability to demonstrate solid experience in a Generalist HR advisory role or similar.
  • Experience in maintaining a computerized database.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Employment Law.
  • Knowledge of good HR policy and practice.
  • Ideal CIPD Level 5 or higher.
