About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to join our team at Iron Mountain. As a Design Manager, you will play a critical role in defining and overseeing the design of our data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define project scope and objectives, and develop project plans and schedules.
  • Oversee the work of external consultants, including M&E consultants, architects, and structural engineers.
  • Review and approve design documents, including stage 1 and 2 project designs.
  • Ensure that design work meets health and safety legislation and relevant building standards.
  • Develop and implement design management processes and protocols.
  • Monitor and report on design progress, and identify and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure that design work meets client requirements and expectations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data centre design and operations.
  • Strong knowledge of design management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
