Placement Support Specialist

Our client is an established independent training provider, operating in the Higher Education space. They have a strong track record of delivering degree courses in accountancy, business & management in partnership with two large Universities.
We are seeking a skilled Placement Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a careers services, placement environment, or recruitment services role within further education, higher education, or apprenticeships.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing tailored support to students and employers
- Establishing and maintaining sustainable relationships with employers and industry sectors
- Maintaining and growing a database of placement providers with suitable opportunities
- Ensuring accurate work placement and student records are maintained
- Developing online resources to support students undertaking work placement opportunities
- Conducting one-to-one meetings with students to prepare them for placements
- Delivering pre-placement preparation workshops to support students
- Supporting the development of internal employability framework (CREATE)
- Providing advice to students on CV development and interview preparation
- Leading on the development of internal placement opportunities for students
We are looking for a proactive and organized individual who can work effectively with our students to encourage take-up of placements. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the full recruitment cycle, including advertising opportunities, shortlisting candidates, and providing feedback.
