Forensic Psychiatrist Position

Location: York Area, North Yorkshire

Salary: £180,000 per annum

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team as a Responsible Clinician for our medium secure women's service. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills and expertise while contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of 12 patients and participating in the non-residential on-call rota. You will also contribute to service development, quality improvement, and teaching opportunities within the organisation.

Key Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  1. Full GMC registration and revalidation compliance.
  2. CCT (or equivalent) in Forensic Psychiatry or General Adult Psychiatry.
  3. Experience working with women in secure services.
