Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, safe care for patients during their peri-operative phase.
  • Support, coordinate, and assist in the management and organisation of care within the operating department.
  • Provide clinical and managerial leadership to ensure quality patient care.
  • Lead patient care during specified periods.
  • Ensure patient safety checks are carried out according to policy.

  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Post-registration qualification relevant to the specialty.

  • ILS certification.
  • Orthopaedic skills.
  • Mentorship qualification.
  • ILM3 qualification.
  • Experience in an acute healthcare environment.
  • Experience managing and leading a clinical team.
