Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join our client's team. This role involves managing financial transactions, preparing VAT returns, and developing working relationships with clients.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong bookkeeping skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with Xero or similar accounting software.
The role involves:
- Processing financial transactions, including payments and receipts.
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements.
- Preparing VAT returns.
- Developing working relationships with clients.
- Taking on additional projects/responsibilities as directed.
