About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Optimisation Expert to join our team at Nationwide. As a key member of our Treasury function, you will play a crucial role in shaping our Treasury Optimisation team and driving change, efficiency, and risk reduction.


Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Subject Matter Expert: In partnership with the Treasury Middle Office business area, you will identify areas where we can further exploit our technology suite and act as the first point of contact for technical queries or system-related issues.
  • System Control and Risk Reduction: You will enhance system control and reduce operational risk through proactive monitoring of system integrity, enhanced reporting, and identifying areas for reduced manual intervention.
  • Project Support: You will work closely with multiple teams across the Function to support the growth and development of our business through project activity, focusing on developing and improving our processes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in treasury, with a reporting background and understanding of liquidity, capital, market risk, or accounting.
  • Proven experience in proposing changes to Front to Back Treasury trading systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
