Elderly Support Role

We are currently looking for a skilled Care Assistant to join our residential care home in the Barry area.

As a member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to frail elderly residents.

Job Description:

  1. Deliver person-centred care to residents with varying needs and requirements.
  2. Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing and dressing.
  3. Support residents with medication management and administration.
  4. Maintain accurate records of resident care and activities.
  5. Contribute to a positive and respectful environment that promotes resident well-being.

Essential Requirements:

  • 6 months UK based care experience in the last year OR a year in the last 5 years.
  • Be a driver with access to your own vehicle.
  • Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship).
  • Willing to undergo DBS and reference checks.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Competitive hourly rate: £32 per hour (with holiday pay on top) and up to £15.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality care and support to vulnerable adults. Estimated salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum.
