Fabric Engineer Opportunity in Brighton

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Engineer to join our client's team in Brighton. As a Fabric Engineer, you will work in a busy environment with a fantastic team, utilizing your expertise in carpentry or handyman skills to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to site team requests and complete maintenance tasks within agreed timescales
  • Liaise with clients' representatives regarding maintenance and repair tasks
  • Conduct site surveys and produce reports, method statements, and risk assessments for planned works and subcontractor activities
  • Repair floor and wall coverings, ceiling tiles, and other building and installation works as required
  • Assist with lighting, general lamp changes, filter replacements, and basic plumbing requirements
  • Utilize PDA to complete works, key communications, and updates
  • Complete reactive, PPM jobs, and projects in a timely manner
  • Undertake minor projects and ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Regulations
Requirements:
  • Strong background in carpentry or handyman skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive approach to managing refurbishment works
