  • You will support and enable each young person to make positive life choices and achieve levels of independence.
  • An essential aspect of your role will be high-level recording of events and observations.
  • You will continually assess the children and young people's needs and formulate, implement, and review care plans.
  • Closely working with managers, team members, and other professionals is crucial in providing comprehensive care.
  • You will also be responsible for carrying out domestic duties, involving the children and young people where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will engage with young people in a positive and proactive approach, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • You must be self-motivated with a positive nature and sensitive and reflective, ensuring a calming presence among the children and young people.
  • The ability to listen and empathise is essential in building trust and rapport with our residents.
  • You will be able to work individually and within a team, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
  • Holding a relevant qualification or being committed to undertaking a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare is highly desirable.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in the care sector or residential care is highly valued.
  • We are looking for passionate and caring individuals who are willing to work some Bank Holidays, sharing our commitment to providing exceptional care.
