Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, Repair, and Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial properties.
- Routine Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems and fixtures to identify potential issues.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues efficiently, implementing timely solutions to minimize disruption to services.
- Contractor Oversight: Supervise contractors on site to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logbooks and records of all work completed.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, responding promptly to inquiries and exceeding customer expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a plumber, with a strong understanding of plumbing systems and maintenance techniques.
- A full driving license is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to form effective working relationships.
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements related to plumbing work.
- A commitment to continuing professional development.
- Relevant plumbing qualifications, such as City & Guilds Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating (C&G 6035 or C&G 6129) or equivalent certifications.
- Valid Gas Safe Registration (if applicable) and knowledge of current plumbing regulations.
Benefits:
A competitive salary, estimated at £35,000-£50,000 per annum, negotiable based on qualifications and experience, along with 32 days of holiday per year, including bank holidays.
