We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Auditor - Data Analytics to join our Internal Audit team at Mercy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing risk areas and developing plans to gain a more in-depth understanding of significant risks to the organization.

This is a hybrid role that requires mostly remote work with occasional onsite visits from either Springfield or St. Louis. You will travel approximately 5% of the time to other Mercy communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting or a related field, with experience working with computer-aided auditing, continuous monitoring, and Computer Assisted Audit Tools (ACL, IDEA, Tableau).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of internal control environments
  • Performing risk assessments, reviews, and internal audits throughout Mercy
  • Assisting external auditors as needed and consulting/intervention work

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $95,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on experience.
