We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead our marine and subsea construction activities, focusing on mooring systems and SURF for permanent offshore floating structures. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for technical delivery and project coordination, ensuring cost-effective planning, tender development, and offshore execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical responses for project tenders associated with marine and subsea construction activities.
  • Manage individual projects under the supervision of the Head of Projects.
  • Deliver engineering deliverables in support of specific projects, either independently or in conjunction with internal and external resources.
  • Develop operational procedures for offshore utilization, including step-by-step methodologies, rigging arrangements, equipment requirements, and lifting plans.
  • Develop mobilization and demobilization plans for installation and anchor handling vessels, and supervise quayside activities.
  • Create, maintain, and report on project schedules as required.
  • Attend meetings with clients and subcontractors.
  • Participate in HIRAs and QHSE-related activities.
  • Produce scopes of work for subcontractors.
  • Oversee offshore operations during the execution phase to ensure adherence to procedures and guidelines.
  • Travel offshore and internationally as required.
Requirements
  • Degree in an Engineering Discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in Marine or subsea construction (Moorings / SURF) for the Energy Industry - Oil and Gas or Renewables.
  • Experience in the design/installation of permanent mooring systems for units such as FPSOs, FSOs, FSUs, FWTs, or CALM buoys.
  • Experience in developing offshore operational procedures for installation and subsea construction projects.
  • Offshore experience in the execution of projects.
  • Knowledge in the use of Orcaflex is advantageous.
  • Driven and focused with a willingness to further the development of themselves and the assigned team.
  • Excellent communicator, in both written and verbal forms, with highly effective interpersonal skills supported by good attention to detail.
  • Creative and adaptable in the ability to manage new challenges.
  • Works closely with others to maximize team achievements and effectiveness through developing relationships and continuous sharing of knowledge and ideas.
  • Possession of up-to-date offshore certification will be advantageous.
  • The ability to travel offshore and internationally as required.
