About CK Group

CK Group is a chemicals manufacturing company based in the UK. We are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Technician to join our team on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract.

As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming and outgoing raw materials and fragrance batches. You will work closely with the production team and report to the Quality Control Manager.

The role offers a competitive salary of £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 25 days' holiday, pension, and life assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality control tests to determine differences in quality
  • Release raw materials, fragrance batches, and laboratory batches after testing
  • Proactive re-testing of all batches and materials due
  • Excellent sense of smell and a keen eye for detail required
  • Able to offer flexibility to cover shifts

Requirements:

  • Experience of performing quality control on aromas and fragrances an advantage
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
