This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take charge of assembling and testing control panels while working closely with projects and design departments.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to use AutoCAD for designing electrical schematics and panel device layouts. A clean UK driving license is essential as occasional travel to sites across the UK may be required. Additionally, experience in wiring, live testing, and fault-finding skills would be advantageous.

As part of this position, you will be responsible for compiling and delegating workload within the department. Excellent communication skills are necessary to provide telephone support to site engineers and liaise with external businesses designing software to meet customer specifications. The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.

Job Description
This is a leadership role that requires a self-motivated individual who can demonstrate initiative. As the head of the electrical department, you will oversee the assembly and testing of control panels, ensuring all paperwork and formalities are completed. You will also work closely with both the projects and design departments to deliver high-quality results. In addition to your technical expertise, strong communication skills are necessary to provide telephone support to site engineers and collaborate with external businesses.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in electrical engineering, including experience in wiring, live testing, and fault-finding skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for designing electrical schematics and panel device layouts. A clean UK driving license is mandatory due to the requirement for occasional site visits. Furthermore, experience in PLC software development and HMI touch panel software writing would be advantageous. The estimated salary for this role is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum.
