The estimated annual salary for this role is £50,000-£65,000, depending on experience. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

We are looking for a talented professional who can lead our warehouse operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and secure environment for personnel. Key responsibilities include:

• Health and Safety: Develop and implement procedures to prevent accidents and maintain compliance with regulations such as the Working Time Directive.
• Warehouse Operations: Oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, utilizing MHE effectively to optimize space utilization.
• Stock Management: Conduct regular inventory checks to prevent loss or damage and maintain accurate records.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and training to team members, promoting a positive company culture and assessing performance annually.
• Discipline and Compliance: Enforce timekeeping, discipline, and adherence to company policies and legal standards, ensuring effective teamwork and communication within and across teams.
• Customer Relations: Communicate with clients to meet requirements and KPIs, building strong relationships and driving business growth.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage customer expectations. Essential qualifications include:

• GCSE level education
• Knowledge of key legislation and policies, including road traffic legislation and ISO standards
• Managerial experience in operations and personnel management
• Familiarity with financial KPIs and routine compliance

Desirable qualifications include NVQ Level 3, SPA certification, and skills in man management, time management, and safety management. The successful candidate will be expected to attend meetings, conferences, and company events as required.
