IT Security Strategist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Strategist to join our Core Technologies team at Southern Water group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing security solutions that meet the needs of our organisation.

You will work closely with stakeholders, including the CISO, to design and implement security solutions that protect our systems, data, and people. You will also be responsible for proactively identifying security risks and creating suitable solutions.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Development and ongoing maintenance/support of architectural solutions in business applications e.g. back-office, front-office, digital, operational technologies
2. Proactively identify issues and corrective actions necessary to sustain the environment
3. Working alongside senior solution architects and enterprise architects in order to design new solutions and maintain architectural control of our IT estate
4. Review of end-to-end components, making suggestions for improvements and reviewing available solutions on the market

Estimated salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum.
