English Department Leader for a South East London School

A challenging and rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced English Teacher to take on the role of Deputy Director of English in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South East London.
As a Deputy Director of English, you will be responsible for teaching KS3 to KS5 classes and playing a key leadership role in the English department.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of teaching and leadership experience, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about education, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work effectively as part of a team.
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Requirements:
- UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
- Clear and up-to-date Enhanced DBS
- Be living in the UK and have the right to work in the UK unhindered
- Experience of teaching as an English Teacher in UK Secondary schools
