At Multiple Brands, we are seeking an experienced Event & Programme Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing the World Architecture Festival, including the event programme, speakers, judges, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the event programme, including speaker and judge communications, event operations, and logistics.
  • Coordinate with the Programme Director and Festival Curator to ensure the smooth delivery of the event.
  • Manage the shortlisting and judging processes, including the preparation of judging schedules and communications.
  • Organise the timings of the finalist judging schedule for communication and publication.
  • Manage the content, speakers, judges, and fringe programme and schedule onsite at the Festival.
  • Source and negotiate hotel rooms/rates for the judges and speakers, plus wider team.
  • Brief the delegate sales team on the programme, fringe events, speakers to help drive ticket sales.
  • Manage any virtual events either on site or as part of the WAF programme throughout the year.
  • Assess sustainability credentials with suppliers and internally with Multiple Brands' own event processes, aim to reduce the event's carbon footprint.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years event experience.
  • Experience within large scale events.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of managing costs within a budget.
  • Experienced in external stakeholder management.
  • Experience in hybrid and virtual event operations, desirable but not essential.

IT Experience:

  • Familiar with general computer use including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience of using virtual event platforms, desirable but not essential.
