Construction Equipment Fitter

About the Job: The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as experience working with heavy plant and equipment. You will be responsible for carrying out routine servicing, repairs, and diagnostics, as well as ensuring compliance with safety procedures and regulations. In addition to your technical skills, you should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy plant and vehicles;
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations;
- Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency;
- Work closely with the Workshop Manager and other technicians;
- Assist with training and development of apprentices.
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of Level 2/3 NVQ in Plant or Vehicle Mechanics and relevant industry experience. A full driving license and CSCS card are also required.
Salary: The salary for this position is estimated to be between £40,000 and £46,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive team environment.
