Midwife Band 7 Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Midwife to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Midwife Band 7, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based care to women and their families, while also contributing to the development of our maternity services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement individualized midwifery care that is centered on the needs of women, pregnant individuals, and their families.
  • Ensure all risk assessments and referrals are completed and documented, and that care is prioritized appropriately.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement patient care, and report and record any deviations from protocols.
  • Participate in continuous professional development, including mandatory training and online learning.
  • Contribute to the development of students, midwives, and oneself, and maintain full conversance with current national and local guidance and the NMC curriculum standards.
Requirements
  • Current NMC Registered Midwife
  • Mentorship qualification or equivalent experience
