Senior Credit Risk Manager

Citi is seeking a seasoned professional to join its Institutional Credit Management (ICM) team as a Credit Underwriter in Corporate Developed Markets. This role will be responsible for managing credit risk activities across the enterprise, providing integrated end-to-end credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management, and monitoring for wholesale credit risk.
Key Responsibilities- Execute underwriting activities aligned with global and regional strategies, including adoption of leading practices in credit analysis, underwriting, and monitoring.
- Conduct detailed reviews of financial data, projection modeling, stress testing, and other in-depth analysis performed by junior resources.
- Facilitate relationships with key clients in Banking and Risk, along with key regulators, Internal Audit, Fundamental Credit Risk, and other control functions.
- Support the ICM Underwriting Global Head of Corporate Developed Markets and Head of Industrials Underwriting on strategic initiatives/projects.
- Experience in global credit risk management standards and ability to understand capital markets products and complex financing and product structures.
- Ability to provide strategic insights and strong sensitivity to macro and regulatory issues, and impact of such issues on the various Risk families, including operational and franchise risks.
- Proven ability to effectively engage with regulators and internal control functions, including Internal Audit and Fundamental Credit Risk, as well as with external audit.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to understand the 'big picture' in a complex environment.
