About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Testing Specialist to join our team at RGE Services Ltd. As an Electrical Testing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, servicing, inspecting, and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical systems, identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Perform electrical remedial works, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Conduct new electrical inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Action reactive electrical works, including emergency repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Complete emergency lighting inspections and repairs to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Carry out company works as required, adhering to our quality management system and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, promoting a positive image of our company and building strong relationships with clients.
  • Comply with company procedures and policies, ensuring smooth delivery of our services and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Produce high-quality reports on time, adhering to agreed standards and providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • UK Driving Licence (required)
  • Experience in electrical repair, maintenance, servicing & installations, preferably within the public sector
  • A sound knowledge of tools, equipment & materials common to the Electrical Trade
  • Current Trade Qualifications
  • Good communication skills, both verbal & written
  • The ability to interpret schematics and electrical drawings
  • IT literate
  • A commitment to great customer service
