Job Description

The Gas Breakdown Engineer will be responsible for undertaking servicing, repairing, and maintaining domestic heating systems, completing works in accordance with specification and gas safe regulations, and ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of gas legislation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly with a diverse range of customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Recognised formal training attaining relevant craft qualification, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent ACS qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT LPG, UNVENTED qualifications are desirable
  • Understanding of gas legislation
  • Full driving license
  • Understanding of Health and Safety and working to best practice
