Job Title: HVAC Engineer

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join their team in the East Midlands area. As a leading HVAC company, they offer a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of a range of HVAC equipment.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in servicing, fault finding, and repairing air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF's, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs, and Cold Rooms. They will also have experience with service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair, as well as a strong understanding of the air conditioning industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems
  • Conduct fault finding and diagnostic work
  • Install and commission new HVAC equipment
  • Work with clients to understand their HVAC needs and provide solutions

Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (not essential)
  • Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
  • 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Experience with service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair

What We Offer:

  • Basic Salary up to £42,000 DOE
  • Company Van - Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
  • Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service - Up to £3,600 tax free
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x
  • 40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
  • On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed - if called out Travel Paid door to door)

  • 22 days' holidays plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.
