About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at People Plus Independent Living Services. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with Autism and Mental Health difficulties to live a fulfilling and independent life.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, housekeeping, and meal planning.

Provide emotional support and encouragement to help the individual build confidence and independence.

Develop and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with the individual, their family, and other professionals involved in their care.

Work collaboratively with the individual to set and achieve goals, promoting their autonomy and well-being.

Requirements:

A genuine interest in providing high-quality care and support.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.

A clean driving license and business insurance (desirable).
