An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled professional to join our Michael Page Finance team as an Audit and Accounts Specialist.

As a key member of our professional services team, you will be responsible for a blend of accounting and auditing tasks, working closely with clients to deliver high-quality services.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Completion of audit assignments from planning through to approval stage.
  • Preparation of accounts and tax computations.
  • Provision of a range of financial advisory services to clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external audit standards.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and established clients.
  • Working as part of a team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Identifying opportunities for business development and growth.
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to their professional development.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a related field such as Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
  • Experience in both accounting and auditing roles within a professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and mentor junior staff members.
