Space Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Space Management Specialist to join our team at Heathrow. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all space at Heathrow, ensuring that it supports our business plan and meets the needs of our passengers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the allocation and use of all space at Heathrow, ensuring that it is optimized for commercial and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement a space governance process that records future demand, clearly determines space allocation, and defines ownership/responsibility for all space at Heathrow.
  • Work with external consultants to set up benchmarks and data to assess the efficiency and commercial viability of current and future space use.
  • Collaborate with senior space owners to identify opportunities for space consolidation and innovative conversations to meet space requirements within existing footprints.
  • Support the Technology team in delivering new Geographic Information System software to enable effective space management and insights.
  • Establish and maintain space quality and quantity standards, ensuring transparency and consistency across the estate.
Requirements:
  • Experience of Heathrow Operations and/or Commercial.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience of presenting to and/or influencing senior stakeholders desirable.
  • Great data analytic skills.
  • Determination and tact to drive through change.
