Mission Aviation Fellowship UK is seeking an experienced and creative Philanthropy and Partnerships Team Leader to support the development of relationships with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, foundations, and corporate supporters. This role involves managing a high-performing team to engage and enhance relationships with donors, delivering against ambitious income targets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver a Major Gifts strategy to increase income and meet funding targets.
- Lead on departmental strategy for generating a pipeline of high-net-worth individuals and major gifts prospects.
- Manage a small portfolio of high-level donors, including institutional funders, to secure five and six-figure gifts.
- Oversee the operation of the Philanthropy and Partnerships team, including direct line management of four Relationship Managers.
- Ensure the team maintains accurate records of relationships with major donors and conducts due diligence where required.
- Educated to degree level.
- Significant experience in fundraising from generous individuals and trusts.
- Demonstrable experience in building effective long-term relationships and influencing with Major Donors.
- Significant management experience leading a successful team to meet agreed targets and working at a strategic level.
- Excellent communication skills, including presentation and training skills.
- Highly effective influencer and communicator at all staff and external donor levels.
- Salary: Specialist £53,500 per annum.
- Annual leave entitlement of 22 days per year and 8 paid public holidays per year.
- Pension Scheme: Non-contributory (10% of salary).
