Deputy IT Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy IT Manager to join our team at ARC IT Recruitment. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting our IT systems, as well as developing and maintaining custom software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Systems Analysis & Support:
    • Support and administer business systems to ensure seamless operations.
    • Engage with end users to understand processes and create requirement specifications for improvements.
    • Analyse requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements to improve operations and customer interactions.
  • Custom Development & Integration:
    • Develop and maintain custom software solutions to meet business needs.
    • Write and maintain Azure Logic Apps and code in C#, Python, and JavaScript to integrate systems and automate processes.
    • Support the development of the company website (Umbraco).
  • IT Infrastructure Management:
    • Assist in managing the company's IT infrastructure, including Servers, VMWare, networking, backups, and cloud services (Azure/Office 365).
    • Ensure data security and continuity with regular backups (Veeam) and disaster recovery planning.
Requirements:
  • C#, Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating systems.
  • Web development.
  • IT infrastructure and systems, including servers, networking, cloud services, and data security practices.
  • Ability to analyse business processes and identify technology-based improvements.
