About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our team at IHG Hotels & Resorts. This role is responsible for creating and cultivating Colleague Engagement initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement Colleague Engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs, town hall meetings, and wellness programs.
  • Deliver exceptional Guest Experience across all colleagues and new joiners as an ambassador of Human Resources.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet employee engagement requirements.
  • Partner with HR and line colleagues to plan and execute engagement activities that meet business needs.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in contracted third-party services, including transportation and colleague restaurants.
  • Plan and execute bi-annual long service award ceremonies.
  • Order supplies according to Human Resources Department needs.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years similar experience in HR.
  • Knowledge of principles, practices, and standards of Human Resources business partner.
  • Passion for promoting employee wellbeing and creating a positive workplace culture.
  • Proven experience in employee engagement, wellness program coordination, or related roles within the hospitality industry.
  • Creative mindset to develop engaging activities and initiatives.

What We Offer:

An estimated salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. IHG Hotels & Resorts offers a dynamic work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and a comprehensive benefits package.
