Mental Health Nurse Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care to men with complex mental and physical health needs.
About the RoleAs a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will be responsible for ensuring that service users receive effective and compassionate care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Providing high-quality nursing care to service users
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care
- Providing mentorship and support to team members
- Observing, recording, and reporting service user changes, and maintaining accurate records of care provided
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant nursing qualification
- NMC registration
- Strong team-working skills
- A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
- A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
- A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
Our service is split into four distinct areas:
- Male Autism Service for adults with Autism and Asperger's syndrome
- Assessment and rehabilitation for women with complex mental health needs and personality difficulties
- Specialist inpatient service for older men with complex mental health and physical health needs
- Low secure care setting for men with a mental illness with or without personality disorder/mild learning disabilities
You will be working alongside the team to improve the mental health and wellbeing of service users, to help them develop and maintain healthy relationships with others.
