Care Support Specialist

Salary
As a Care Assistant with Home Instead, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from £12.00-£14.00 per hour, paid in line with your agreed hours of work. You will also receive mileage reimbursement at a rate of £0.30 per mile increasing to £0.45 per mile when accompanied by a client.
Job Description
Our Care Assistants provide a range of services to support our clients, including:
- Bathing and personal care, assisting with toilet and continence issues.
- Meal preparation and light housework.
- Assisting with mobility and keeping active.
- Medication reminders.
- Running errands and accompanying on trips and social events.
All clients have differing needs, and our staff work from individual care plans to ensure an optimum service.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful as a Care Assistant, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- The right to work in the UK.
- A minimum of 20-30 hours availability per week, including alternate weekends.
