Job Title: History Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated History Teacher to join our team at The Hastings Academy. As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students from KS3 to KS4, inspiring them to develop a passion for History and achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons in History, incorporating a range of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles.
• Assess and provide feedback on student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to support students who require additional help.
• Contribute to the development of the History curriculum, ensuring it is relevant, engaging, and aligned with national standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver whole-school initiatives, promoting a culture of excellence and high expectations.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date with best practices in History education and sharing expertise with colleagues.
