Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for each student.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in SEN education.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Must hold a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN legislation, safeguarding procedures, and inclusive education practices.
  • A genuine commitment to enhancing the educational experiences and outcomes of students with SEN.
