Job Title: Class 1 HGV Driver

Proman UK, acting as an Employment Business, is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV/LGV C+E Drivers on behalf of our national client, who has an operating depot in Preston.

Job Role: Class 1 HGV/LGV C+E Driver - you'll be making bulk collections & deliveries between various sites and customers nationwide. Deliveries and collections may involve trailer swaps or having your trailer live unloaded and reloaded, depending on individual customer needs.

Hours of Work: all shifts commence between 12:00 and 20:00, shifts average 10 hours in length, flexibility is required

Pay Rates:

  • Midweek: £19.28 (£17.20 + holiday accrual)
  • OT after 8hrs: £26.26 (£23.44 + holiday accrual)

Saturday: £24.53 (£21.89 + holiday accrual)

OT after 8hrs: £26.26 (£23.44 + holiday accrual)

Sunday: £27.38 (£24.44+ holiday accrual)

Bank Holiday: £35.95 (£32.08 + holiday accrual)

Rates will increase after 12 weeks.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid Class 1/C+E Licence
  • No More than 6 points (No DD/DR/TT or IN endorsements)
  • Valid Tacho and CPC cards
  • Minimum 12 months of ongoing work experience is essential. Tachograph history reflecting this experience will be required to complete the induction.
  • MUST have no more than 12 current points for infringements on card
