Mechanical Technologist for HGVs

Holt Recruitment Ltd is looking for a skilled Mechnical Technologist for HGVs to join our team in Birmingham.

This is a permanent early shift position that requires a motivated individual with proven experience in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a modern fleet of HGVs, perform routine maintenance and repairs, and contribute to ensuring the vehicles meet the highest safety and quality standards.

This role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs, trailers, and associated equipment, as well as conducting thorough diagnostics to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, along with proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or HGV Fitter.

The salary for this position is £40,000 per annum (£19.23 per hour), with additional overtime paid at £28.84 per hour.
