Salary: £31,375 - £36,512 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Educational Specialist to join our team at Neptune School. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education to pupils with neurodiverse conditions, aged 7-16.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, patience, and resilience, as well as a genuine interest in special educational needs. They will also possess a driving license, as frequent transportation is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading classroom activities, including planning, teaching, and assessing learning
  • Monitoring and recording progress, both academically and against EHCP outcomes
  • Working closely with pupils to keep them engaged, motivated, and inspired to reach their full potential
  • Collaborating with Teaching Assistants to direct them effectively support the pupils

Requirements:

  • Patient and compassionate approach to working with neurodiverse pupils
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Genuine interest in a career focused on special educational needs
  • Driving license
