European Field Application Specialist

Molecular Devices is a leading life science solutions provider of high-performance bioanalytical measurement systems, software, and consumables. As a European Field Application Scientist, you will play a crucial role in empowering scientists to fast-track research breakthroughs, leading to earlier diagnoses and safer drug treatments.
The position involves providing pre- and post-sales support for the Molecular Devices BioPharma product line, including hardware, software, and reagents. You will train our BioPharma customers on our instruments, assays, and connectivity solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing technical assistance to the BioPharma Sales team for pre- and post-sale activities
- Conducting technical presentations and product demonstrations to current and potential customers
- Jointly developing account strategies with Sales Representatives to increase Molecular Devices business and retain current business
You will work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, Service, and global business units to identify and assess customer needs. A key aspect of the job is to provide high-quality customer care that exceeds expectations.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of related work experience OR Master's degree in a relevant field with 3+ years of related work experience OR Doctoral degree in a relevant field with 0-2 years of related work experience
- Demonstrated excellent project management skills
- Demonstrated excellent customer relations/service skills
- Ability to independently manage assigned territory to include travel and scheduling
- Self-motivated and independent problem-solving
