Job Title: Part II Architectural Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Part II Architectural Assistant to join our team at Hunter Dunning Ltd. As a leading architecture recruitment specialist, we are committed to delivering exceptional results for our clients and candidates.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Part II qualified Architectural Assistant to work on bespoke, high-end conservation and heritage projects throughout London and the UK. You will be responsible for working across all RIBA stages, with an initial focus on stage 4 through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality projects, including historical buildings, London estates, and large country estates.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to ensure project progress and client satisfaction.
  • Produce detailed hand drawings and high-quality design and technical drawings, with a focus on traditional styles.
  • Work closely with Project Architects to report on project progress and provide design solutions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a Part II Architectural Assistant.
  • Relevant UK project experience, with a focus on conservation and heritage projects.
  • Strong flair for design and technical knowledge, with experience in traditional architecture.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £32,000 - £39,000 DOE.
  • 21 days of holiday, plus bank holidays and discretionary leave.
  • Flexible working arrangements, with 3 days per week required in the office.
