Job Summary:

We're looking for a Submarine Systems Designer to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing submarine systems that meet customer requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop submarine systems, including mechanical and electrical components.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality components and equipment.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Perform and review engineering calculations and analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support design and manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level education in Engineering, Mechanical, or Science subjects.
  • Chartered Engineer status within a recognised engineering institute.
  • Proven experience in submarine systems design and development.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
