Main Purpose of the Job:

To oversee all lunchtime staff, ensuring effective planning and organisation of jobs, activities, and sessions across all areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish supportive relationships with the lunchtime and catering team, manage lunchtime timetables, and liaise with class teachers and leaders to ensure staff awareness of individual pupil needs.

Lunchtime Management:

Ensure all pupils' welfare and food needs are met, engage pupils in activities, and take rapid action to provide support when difficulties arise. Follow school procedures for child protection, safeguarding, health, and safety, and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements:

Develop an understanding of the specific needs of the children, meet with supply staff at the start of each lunchtime session, and work collaboratively to achieve a positive lunchtime experience.

Working Arrangements:

The role requires working all year round, with two weeks' closure at Christmas and two weeks in August, outside of holiday entitlement. The salary is £26,873, with 26 days' holiday plus bank holidays.
