Barchester Healthcare Ltd is looking for a dedicated Clinical Development Nurse to join our team. We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 per year and a range of benefits including a car allowance of £6.5k, Mobile phone & laptop.

This role is ideal for an experienced RGN with a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements and a passion for delivering the best care. You will have extensive experience of residents/patient care and be confident in managing chronic diseases and wound dressings.

As a Clinical Development Nurse, you will be responsible for leading and supporting clinical governance and quality of care for our residents in Oxfordshire & Northamptonshire. This role will oversee nursing homes in Brackley, Chipping Norton, Kettering and Northampton.

Your key responsibilities will include reviewing and supporting the performance of every home in your region to ensure it meets the highest clinical standards. You will analyse results, identify areas for improvement and implement practical strategies to address any issues.

You will work closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists and senior clinical staff to plan and implement key actions to improve standards month in, month out. Whether you're organising new training, helping attract key senior clinical staff or delivering clinical investigations, your leadership skills and passion for delivering the best will shine through.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a current NMC registration, RN (General) and evidence of continued professional development. You should also have worked in a care home environment and as a clinical mentor, including supporting newly-qualified nurses.
