Job Title: SEN Teacher
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Teacher to join our team at U-Educate. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, marking, and assessing lessons to ensure students meet their learning objectives.
- Developing and delivering lesson plans and curriculums that cater to the needs of students with SEN and SEMH.
- Providing feedback to students on their progress and supporting them in achieving their goals.
- Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.
- Supporting students with personal care needs and developing individual Educational, Social, Behavioural, and Personal Care Plans.
- Attending to students' physical, mental, and emotional needs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with SEN and SEMH.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Up-to-date Safeguarding Training and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
