Highway Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Technician to join our Infrastructure Planning Team in the Environment and Transport Department. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality infrastructure projects that meet the needs of our community.Key Responsibilities:

This role involves:

• Carrying out site inspections to ensure compliance with approved layouts and associated standards.
• Interpreting works programmes and conducting measurements and checks of works.
• Responding to customer enquiries and supporting the preparation and maintenance of highway and street lighting records and inventories.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest standard, while also providing excellent customer service and supporting the development of our infrastructure projects.
