Maintenance Engineering Leadership Role

About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding leadership opportunity within our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team. As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineering technicians to maintain equipment availability and ensure a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the team to work efficiently, safely, and in line with company standards.
- Collaborate with the wider network to leverage technical expertise and develop solutions.
- Support the implementation of safety and statutory compliance programs with the Site Safety department and Site Leadership.
- Implement preventative maintenance practices to ensure high equipment availability.
- Develop and direct training programs to ensure sufficient technical coverage during shifts.
- Participate in local and EU-level projects as assigned by the manager.
- Foster strong connections with the team through on-shift presence and contribute to achieving team goals.
Requirements:
- A UK Higher National Diploma (HND), Higher National Certificate (HNC), IEng, CEng or ILM L4+ qualification.
- Relevant experience in managing people in an engineering team and liaising with stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
