Product Owner - IT Department

Davies is seeking a skilled Product Owner to join our dynamic UK & I IT department. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for delivering value to our clients by managing your own product backlog.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the product backlog, ensuring it is aligned with client needs and business objectives.
  • Prioritize backlog items based on client value, strategic goals, and resource availability.
  • Clearly communicate the backlog items and their priorities to the development team.
  • Work closely with clients to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories.
  • Act as the voice of the client within the Agile Scrum team, ensuring products meet client expectations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within an Agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and product management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and translate client needs into actionable user stories and product requirements.
  • Knowledge of technical software or background as a developer or engineer working with software engineering technologies and principles.
  • Familiar with cloud services such as Azure or AWS and have foundation knowledge of cloud computing.
