**Job Title:** Patient Services Assistant in Imaging

Location: London, SW5 0TU

Estimated Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient administrative services to patients, staff, and consultants within the radiology department.
  • Take bookings for diagnostic imaging examinations and provide accurate preparation instructions to patients.
  • Maintain effective booking, information, reporting, and filing systems on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Liaise with the Administration Manager to ensure a cohesive team approach and exemplary service delivery.
  • Promote good relations with referring clinicians, other hospital departments, and external organisations to uphold the reputation of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Bupa Cromwell Hospital.

Requirements:

  • Experience in administration within a healthcare environment is essential.
  • Previous experience in radiology is desirable but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Good organisational skills, meeting deadlines, and prioritising workloads are essential.
  • A natural ability to empathise with patients and demonstrate genuine care is required.
