About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Solar Electrical Specialist to join our team at Astute People. As a key member of our commercial solar energy team, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the installation of commercial electrical systems, managing a skilled team, and ensuring premium delivery to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial electrical installations and manage a team of skilled technicians.
- Coordinate with mechanical teams for cable management and safety.
- Mentor junior technicians and ensure site health and safety.
- Travel for up to a week as needed, with allowances covered.
Requirements:
- Level 3 in Electrical Installation and a valid test and inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent).
- AM2 and ECS Gold Card (preferred).
- SMSTS/SSSTS and Solar PV qualifications (desirable).
- Full UK driving licence.
